Regular in United States U-15 national team camps in 2009 and was invited into U-17 residency in fall 2009 … Started all three games for U.S. U-17 national team at prestigious Nike friendlies in December 2009, including 1-1 tie against Brazil and losses to Portugal and the Netherlands ... 2010 SUM U-17 CUP: Won Golden Gloves award as tournament’s top goalkeeper … Played 165 minutes and did not allow a goal … Posted shutout win vs. Toronto FC in 3-0 triumph to open tournament on 7/23 … Shut out rival Chivas USA by a 1-0 score on 7/26 as Houston advanced to semifinals … Entered at halftime of semifinal vs. Real Salt Lake on 7/27 and helped Houston rally to tie the game … Stepped up to take and convert a penalty kick during the shootout that saw the Dynamo eliminated.

2009 EUROPE: Started three of six games on European tour … Was in goal for signature win against Real Madrid on August 18 as well as win over amateur club Benlloch and 1-0 loss to Celtic … Was named man of the match after making five saves in 1-0 loss to Celtic on August 11.

2009 SUM U-17 CUP: Helped backstop the Dynamo to a fifth-place finish in the MLS youth championship … Posted shutout, including two key saves, in 2-0 win against Kansas City to open tournament on July 4 … Was sick and in street clothes for second game against Real Salt Lake on July 5 but was forced into action following a red card … Made a key save on a late chance to preserve a 1-1 tie, then made two saves in the shootout to lift Dynamo to win … Also started final group game against Columbus on July 7.
