2007-10 SMU: Appeared in parts of three seasons for the Mustangs while redshirting 2008 campaign ... Trained with Dynamo first team on several occasions during summer breaks ... Notched first career goal and assist during strong October as a redshirt sophomore in 2009 ... SMU reached NCAA quarterfinals in his redshirt junior year of 2010.

PERSONAL: Full name is Walberto Adonay Vasquez, but has gone by nickname, 'Pana' most of his life ... Earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with financial applications at SMU ... Is the oldest of three children, and his brother, Brian, plays soccer at Mississippi College ... His parents are Jorge and Ana Vasquez.
