Defender of the Year, Ironman of the Year, Play of the Year. Tack on ESPN Sport Science Newton Award winner to list growing list of accolades for Dynamo right back Kofi Sarkodie. Sarkodie was honored for "Outstanding Reaction" for his double save at D.C. United at the inaugural awards ceremony.

ESPN remembered it too, and for it Kofi has been nominated for "Outstanding Reaction" at the inaugural Sport Science Newton Awards. The Dynamo right back will be up against Jose Fernandez (Miami Marlins), Bryan Brothers (tennis), Tony Stewart (NASCAR) and Tuuka Rask (Boston Bruins).
