The preseason roster for the Dash has been whittled down from 32 at the start of camp last week to the league-mandated 25 today. Ten trialists still remain, hoping to make the final 20-player roster before the April 12 opener against Portland Thorns FC. See the full roster below, and see them in action at Houston Sports Park on Wednesday (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m.) as the Dash take on the Rice and Texas A&M women's soccer teams, respectively, in preseason scrimmages. Scrimmages at HSP are free and open to the public (full preseason schedule)

When you win each of the first two weeks by not giving up a goal and scoring five, you are doing well. That's exactly what the Dynamo have done, and they've been rewarded by jumping to the top of the MLSsoccer.com Power Rankings (also the top of the actual standings, which is more important probably). Here's what the Power Rankers had to say about the Dynamo's performance to get them to the top so far:
"Had to rely on Tally Hall (and Kofi Sarkodie, who is the Pelé of goal-line clearances) for a couple of big moments. But they got another three points, got another goal from Will Bruin, and got themselves to the top spot here."

Another week, another win, another Dynamo player on MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week. This time it's Kofi Sarkodie, who came through in the clutch to clear yet another ball of the line and preserve a second straight shutout for the Dynamo defense. Here's what they had to say about the young right back:
"Cleared yet another goal off the line, and nearly scored a beautiful one of his own, while playing a strong two-way game vs. the Impact."
