Preseason is a time for many things. It's a time for team bonding, a time for team pranks and for some people a time to prepare for the upcoming season. But for one player, this year's preseason became so much more.
In an unexpected turn of events today, Dynamo defender Warren Creavalle, a player who pundits expect to make huge strides in 2012, found himself trapped in the unlikeliest of places. In case you missed it, here is the breakdown of this afternoon's events.

It's a good thing the MLS Insider was on the scene as he was able to catch up with Creavalle after today's incident. Hear what the Dynamo defender had to say.
While the Dynamo continue their preseason training camp in Charleston, S.C., their 2012-13 CCL quarterfinal opponent Santos Laguna continues their run through Liga MX.
SECURE YOUR SEATS FOR THE MATCH VS. SANTOS AT BBVA COMPASS STADIUM
Last week, Santos got out to an early lead on first place Tigres UANL, but a 37th-minute strike from Anselmo Juninho gave the home side a 1-1 draw.
Darwin Quintero's second-minute golazo (watch highlights below) gave Santos an early lead and former Mexican national team goalkeeper Oswaldo Sanchez made three saves for Los Guerreros.
With the draw, Santos moves to 2-3-2 on the season and sits in a tie for eighth place in Liga MX.
The schedule doesn't get any easier for Santos as they travel home this week for a matchup Friday night against second-place Club America. The match kicks off at 9:30 p.m. CT at Estadio Corona in Torreon.
With the Dynamo set to begin the 2013 season in just 15 days – against D.C. United at BBVA Compass Stadium on March 2 – we are counting down to kickoff with a Dynamo-centric countdown to opening day. See the bottom of this post for the complete countdown list.
Each day, we’ll post a short description of what makes the number significant. If you have any Dynamo-related numbers of your own, post them in the comment section below.
Today, we continue with #15:
The success that Dynamo forward Will Bruin has had against D.C. United is well documented. The young striker has six goals in five regular season games and added a seventh during last year's playoff run. But did you know that Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis is just as profilic against the Black-and-Red, tallying 15 goals and assists in 25 career regular season matches against United?
Davis has had more success against D.C. United than any other team in his career. He has scored six goals and added nine assists, including the first goal at BBVA Compass Stadium on May 12, 2012.
Davis' success is not limited to the regular season. The five-time MLS all-star recorded assists in each of the Dynamo's postseason matches against D.C. United in 2012.
Can Davis continue his hot streak against United this year? Come to the stadium on March 2 and see for yourself!
