Dash back to all the sights and sounds from Saturday's inaugural match.
How famous is Brian Ching in Houston? Turns out pretty famous. Do the Dash dance.
The Inaugural Match has finally arrived for the Houston Dash. Coach Randy Waldrum and Captain Erin McLeod preview Saturday's match vs. Portland.
Houston Dash goalkeeper Erin McLeod and forward Ella Masar joined Sarah Pepper, Ivan and PK on Hot 95.7 FM this morning to get ready for Saturday's inaugural match, and the crew gave the Dash players some helpful advice for driving around Houston.
The preseason roster for the Dash has been whittled down from 32 at the start of camp last week to the league-mandated 25 today. Ten trialists still remain, hoping to make the final 20-player roster before the April 12 opener against Portland Thorns FC. See the full roster below, and see them in action at Houston Sports Park on Wednesday (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m.) as the Dash take on the Rice and Texas A&M women's soccer teams, respectively, in preseason scrimmages. Scrimmages at HSP are free and open to the public (full preseason schedule)
