A year after finishing as the runner-up for the MLS MVP award, Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis finished fourth in this year's voting. San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski won the league's top honor in a landslide, garnering a combined percentage of 259.07% of the votes. That number is out of 300% when you add the percentage of votes that came from the clubs, players and media. Davis finished behind Red Bulls striker Thierry Henry and Sporting KC midfielder Graham Zusi.

He only joined the team in June, but that didn't stop Boniek Garcia from having a huge impact on the Houston Dynamo. Garcia was rewarded for his play Tuesday night, when he was named the 2012 Houston Dynamo Newcomer of the Year as well as the 2012 Houston Dynamo Player's MVP. The Players' MVP award was created this year to honor the Dynamo player who had the biggest impact on his club, as voted on by his teammates.

For the third time in five seasons, Bobby Boswell was voted the Houston Dynamo Defender of the Year but the media. Boswell helped the Dynamo record 12 shutouts while playing in 33 regular season games, a high for Dynamo field players. The veteran center back helped stabilize a backline that saw the transfer of U.S. men's national team center back Geoff Cameron to Stoke City in the summer. Although Boswell has been a rock for Houston all season, he will be most remembered for this play against D.C. United:

It's been a memorable year for the Houston Dynamo with many games and moments that will stand the test of time. It was not easy finding one game to honor as the Game of the Year, but here is the one that stood out to us:

There were many viable candidates for the 2012 Houston Dynamo Play of the Year, but one stood out above the rest. Adam Moffat's right-footed bomb in the Eastern Conference semifinal first leg against Sporting KC set the tone for the match and for the Dynamo's run to the MLS Cup Final. Watch the goal below:
