Houston Dynamo players Will Bruin and Mike Chabala visited the Texas Children's Cancer Center for their Bald is Beautiful campaign, which will raise money for the Curing Children's Cancer Fund this year. Bruin, Chabala and other Dynamo players and staff will shave their heads in support of these children.
Fans can also shave their heads prior to the August 17 match vs. Seattle as Dynamo Charities attempts to break the Guiness World Record for most heads shaved in one hour. For more information or to register, click here.
Real Salt Lake and the Houston Dynamo meet in a crucial interconference match for both clubs on Saturday evening at Rio Tinto Stadium. Still holders of the league’s best overall record, RSL haven’t won in three league games, returning home off a 2-2 draw at the Colorado Rapids last weekend – but advanced to the U.S. Open Cup final at midweek. The Dynamo are still hanging on to fifth place in the Eastern Conference after a four-game unbeaten run, coming off a 3-1 home win against Columbus.

Cam Weaver's gorgeous goal may not have been the decisive one in the Houston Dynamo's 3-1 victory over the Columbus Crew last weekend, but it was the AT&T Goal of the Week winner in Week 23.
Weaver's late insurance goal in the Dynamo's win at BBVA Compass Stadium took home this week's award after earning a little more than 47 percent of the vote. Weaver found the top corner of the Crew's goal in the 85th minute, hitting a beautiful shot with the outside part of his right foot after teammate Will Bruin knocked down a cross in his direction.
Seattle Sounders forward Obafemi Martins came in second place with about 29 percent of all votes.
