The Dynamo defeated Sporting Kansas City in dramatic fashion in the 2012 Eastern Conference Semifinal, thanks to goals from Adam Moffat & Will Bruin in Leg 1 and stellar defending to maintain the result from Bobby Boswell & company in Leg 2.
The rivalry between the Dynamo & Sporting Kansas City grew even larger when the Dynamo beat SKC again in the conference championship to reach the 2011 MLS Cup.
