him some grief about setting the record, but they have the utmost respect for
his accomplishment and the career he has put together.

The Houston Dynamo struck early and often, netting two goals in the first eight minutes, then held on for a 2-0 win over Chivas USA Saturday night at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Houston earned its first road win of the 2010 season and moved into exclusive possession of second place in the Western Conference. The Houston Dynamo took sole control of second place in the Western Conference on Saturday evening, downing Chivas USA 2-0 at The Home Depot Center. The Dynamo continue to be a thorn in the Red-and-White’s side, extending their unbeaten streak against the Goats to an impressive 11 games.
For a team trying to string together two consecutive complete
performances, Houston suffered major setback in Wednesday’s 1-0 loss to
Dallas after playing so well against Kansas City last weekend.
