A pair of beautiful goals from Brian Ownby and Omar Cummings carried the Houston Dynamo to a 2-0 win over FC Tucson in a preseason scrimmage Monday morning at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Ariz.

Both Dynamo goals were similar in their distance and the minimal chance they offered the FC Tucson goalkeepers.

With two weeks of preseason training in the books, less than a month remains before the curtain rises on the Dynamo’s 2014 MLS campaign with a March 8 home clash against the New England Revolution.

Preseason is a six-week period with eleven games in three locations spanning from America’s southwest to the east coast: Houston, Tucson and Charleston.

"It's an hour 45 minutes from my house, I've got a decent fanbase out there with my family and a few friends," the winger told this week.
