The Houston Dynamo and Great Clips kick off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month on Thursday, September 1, with several Dynamo players getting their heads shaved by kids from Curing Children's Cancer Fund. Curing Children's Cancer Fund is an organization that looks to find a cure for childhood cancer by providing financial support for some of the country's leading pediatric cancer researchers. Dynamo players will then host a Celebrity Pour from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., at The Dogwood in Midtown.
Fans are also encouraged to start growing their hair and join us as we try to break the world record for largest amount of heads shaved in an hour on September 24 prior to the Houston vs. Portland game. Register to shave your head today!
Enjoy a Dynamo game and lace up to support Go4TheGoal!
Go4TheGoal looks to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research, and granting personal wishes to children in the greater Houston area.
Purchase tickets to the Dynamo vs. Portland Timbers match on Saturday, September 24 at 7:45 p.m. and add a donation benefiting Go4TheGoal. For each $5 donation you will receive a pair of gold shoe laces to support Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer.
