Raquel Torres-Garcia is excited to be back in her hometown of Houston, Texas, where she can share her passion of dance as the new Director and Choreographer for the Dynamo Girls!
Raquel coached 11 seasons and served as the Spurs Sports and Entertainment Choreographer, with her teams including the Spurs Silver Dancers, Spurs Junior Jammers, Sterling Silver, Rampage Ice Girls and the Silver Stars Star Squad. Raquel recently finished this past season serving as a consultant with the San Antonio Spurs and served as the Director of the Junior Silver Dancer programs/clinics in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Austin and Laredo. She is also the Mid-South Style Pro for Angela King Designs, which outfiits professional dance and cheerleading teams in the NBA, NFL, MLS, NHL, and other sports teams.
Raquel is a former five year member of the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers, a former member of the World Renown Kilgore College Rangerettes and has trained extensively with many of the country’s leading authorities in dance. While at Kilgore College, Raquel was a Ranger Beauty, and served as the Vice-President of the dance club.
She has had the opportunity to choreograph for the Farelly Brothers movie, “The Ringer”, has appeared on MTV’s MADE as a coach, and has choreographed for numerous high schools and other teams throughout Texas.
Raquel is married and the proud mother of a 7 year old son, Matthew, and 4 year old girl/boy twins, Gabriella and Luke.
