Tyler Deric is on a tear. 

The Houston Dynamo goalkeeper has secured his second straight MLS Save of the Week honor, with his award-winning stop of LA Galaxy star Robbie Keane following hard on the heels of last week's sensational parry of a Kaká free-kick bid. 

The New York Red Bulls’ Luis Robles came in second, barely nipping past San Jose’s David Bingham. Colorado’s Clint Irwin and New York City FC’s Josh Saunders brought up the rear in this week's count.

Wednesday, March 25: Dash vs Dynamo Academy Scrimmage

  • The Dash are taking on the Dynamo Academy U-16s in a re-match of last week's 2-0 loss. The scrimmage is open to the public at Houston Sports Park, kickoff at 6:30 PM. 

Thursday, March 26: Dash with the Dash

  • The Dash will be at Memorial Park this Thursday, March 26th at 6 PM for their recovery day. Join the team for light training, including jogging, stretching & soccer tennis! It's your chance to "dash" with the Dash and see what it's like to train with the pros. The event is free & open to the public.

    • Look for the group along the West side of the Seymour Lieberman Exertrail. Parking is open along the Memorial Loop & at the Memorial Park Tennis Center. 

Sunday, March 29: Dash Day 

  • It's time for Dash Day, Take 2! Head back out to Houston Sports Park on Sunday afternoon at 2 PM to watch the Dash scrimmage against University of Texas Women's Soccer, followed by autograph & photos with the teams.
  • Also make sure to check out the Dynamo Charities raffle benefitting Girls Inc. with some great items including VIP tickets + warm-ups on the field for both Dash & Dynamo games, Kenny Chesney tickets & more.

After singlehandedly stoning Columbus Crew SC with a string of outstanding saves in Week 1, Deric turned heads again with an acrobatic parry of a Kaká free kick that led to his second straight SOTW nomination, and it drew more than 50 percent of this week's vote. 

New York City FC's Josh Saunders finished a distant second, followed by New England's Bobby Shuttleworth, FC Dallas netminder Chris Seitz and Joe Bendik of Toronto FC.
