Coaching Staff
The Houston Dynamo employ a professional coaching staff capable of providing the player centered and challenging environment required to aid development. All staff members are qualified through the USSF and/or NSCAA, with a "D" license or higher, and work specifically for the Houston Dynamo, either in Pre-Academy, Academy or affiliated Dynamo Juniors programs.
Justin Neese - Soccer Programs Manager
Education: BA, Political Philosophy, University of Dallas; MA, American Studie, University of Dallas.
Coaching licenses: USSF National “A” License (2008, 2012), NSCAA Premier Diploma (2007), US Youth Soccer National Youth License (2003), NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma (2012).
Prior coaching experience: College soccer: University of Dallas, Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach (2004); University of the Ozarks, Head Women’s Soccer; Youth soccer: North Texas ODP (2008-2012); NSCAA Youth Boys Coach of the Year (2012); Coach Education Instructor: North Texas State Soccer Association (2008-2012), NSCAA Texas (2007-present).
About me: Lives in Houston with wife, Rachel, and son, Caden.
Cesar Hernandez - Youth Programs Senior Coach
Education: Kinesiology major at HCC/University of Houston.
Coaching licenses: USSF National "B" license, Brazilian Soccer Federation "A" License, US Youth Soccer National Youth License, NSCAA Goalkeeping State Diploma.
Prior coaching experience: Houston Dynamo Youth Programs for 2.5 years; Founder of Elite Futbol Training; Texas Heat Wave SC; West University SC; Texans SC; Houstonians FC; Director of Soccer Program “YES” College Prep; Director of Indoor program Mustang SC..
Nathan Thackeray - Youth Programs Coach
Education: Communications major at Williams Woods University.
Coaching licenses: USSF "D" license; FA Level 1.
Prior coaching experience: Young Harris College (Goalkeeper's coach); Emory and Henry College (Assistant coach); Tony Glavin Soccer Club; Oundle Town Football Club (England); Fulton Soccer Club.
Amr Neamatalla - Youth Programs Coach
Education: B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas.
Coaching licenses: USSF “C” License (2012), NSCAA Junior Level VI Diploma (2010).
Prior coaching experience: Troops United Soccer Club, Director of Trainers for boys and girls (2012-2013); Texas Dutch Lions (2011-2012); Conroe Youth Soccer League (CYSL, 2010-2011)..

Greg Hess - Youth Programs Coach

Stephen Olsen - Youth Programs Coach
Education: Studied Kinesiology at University of Houston.

Prior coaching experience: High School soccer: Emery/Weiner School (Varsity Boys 2009-present, Middle School Boys 2010-2012); Youth soccer: Quest YSC (2006-present), South Houston Academy League (2011-present).
About me: Through soccer I had many great experiences and learned valuable lessons growing up and now I enjoy being able to give back to new generations of young players.
Marcia Oliveira - Youth Programs Coach
