Center of Excellence

Center of Excellence programs offer advanced training to elite male and female players aged 8-12 and provide high-level supplementary training and the first step into the Houston Dynamo Academy. The Houston Dynamo operates as seasonal, weekly training sessions a select locations around Houston; Summer and Winter camp programs and a Residential Camp at the Houston Amateur Sports Park, utilizing the exclusive Center of Excellence curriculum and online player assessment. Center of Excellence registrations that occur during the regular MLS season include individual registrations with a free companion ticket to select Houston Dynamo games at BBVA Compass Stadium.

Types of Programs

TRAINING PROGRAMS
The Center of Excellence Training Programs operate as two hour, weekly training sessions at satellite locations around Houston. Featuring the competitive Center of Excellence curriculum focusing on Indivdual Technique and Game Awareness. These popular training sessions feature a full Dynamo training uniform. 

CAMPS
The Houston Amateur Sports Park provides the location for Center of Excellence Camps. This 6 field complex is the full time training home of the Dynamo First Team and Academy. Camps are offered at Summer and Winter vacations. Center of Excellence camp programs are 3 hours in duration for 8-12 year olds with goal keeper programs available for players aged 10-12. Camps include a Houston Dynamo Adidas Training Jersey and Ball.

RESIDENTIAL CAMP
The Houston Dynamo Residential Elite Camp caters for competitive team players, aged 10-12 years (boys and girls) and
feature the exclusive Center of Excellence curriculum. This camp provides unique training experiences and ensures that all players are immersed in one of the most intensive soccer environments available.

FUTSAL
Coming in late 2013, the Center of Excellence curriculum will be offered as an indoor Futsal option. Using heavier, low bounce balls players are challenged to improve ball mastery and speed of play.

Success Stories
