"We love our fans. They always come out, no matter the situation and I think the best example of that was last year when we didn't have a good year but they were still out beating the drums, dancing and singing. They are rowdy on both ends of the field. It's great for us as players to know that they are always there for us and hopefully we can come out and return the favor."
- Dynamo defender Bobby Boswell

On Wednesday, June 16, leaders from the various Supporters Groups were treated to an exclusive tour of the new stadium site by Dynamo executives. President Chris Canetti addressed the group, providing updates on the progress of the construction. He also took the supporters to the site of their new section, to be located in the lower bowl in the southeast corner of the new stadium. El Batallon

El Batallon is a Dynamo supporters group that can be found in the north end of Robertson Stadium. They are a rambunctious group of supporters who cheer for their squad through thick and thin. The only rules they have for their members are to sing, jump, and support the team for the whole 90 minutes. They endorse active participation and respect for their fellow Dynamo fans.

La Bateria

La Bateria was formed in 2009 and has since grown. Their objectives are to support the Dynamo and make the atmosphere come alive in the south end zone. La Bateria is known for playing beautiful rhythms (cumbia and reggaton) on their bass drums, snare drums, and platillos (cymbals). They share the same vision as the three other supporter groups of the Dynamo. They sing with passion, wave their flags, stand and jump the whole 90 minutes plus and help enhance the energy at Dynamo games.

There are no membership fees to join La Bateria. The only criteria to join are you must share the same passion as the other members and help them to create the best atmosphere in all of Major League Soccer. Members also receive exclusive access to La Bateria merchandise.

If you are interested in joining La Bateria, their tailgate is located near the Southwest corner of the Robertson Stadium parking lot, near Gate 1.

Brickwall

Brickwall Firm can be found and, more importantly, heard on the north end of Robertson Stadium where they have stood with their El Batallon cohorts since 2009. Although they are the newest supporters group to emerge at Robertson Stadium, they have also proved to be the fastest growing and immediately became known for their distinctly European-style of chanting, singing and flag waving. With a membership roster drawn heavily from Houston's underground music scene, the Brickwall Firm fanatically supports their team rain or shine, win or lose...both by their heavy attendance in-season and by charity work done in affiliation with the Dynamo during the off-season.
