Dynamo 2, Real Salt Lake 1
The Dynamo produced the first of many late victories at Robertson Stadium, as Dwayne De Rosario picked up a loose ball 35 yards from goal, burst through the Real Salt Lake back line, and coolly slotted a shot into the lower right corner to give Houston the win. RSL had taken the lead on a Jeff Cunningham goal, but Craig Waibel equalized for the Dynamo shortly after to set up De Rosario’s heroics.
