Surgery decreases Cameron's recovery time
Midfielder could miss only 3-4 months with PCL injury
April 30, 2010
Dynamo midfielder Geoff Cameron underwent arthroscopic knee
surgery to repair a ruptured PCL on Friday at The Methodist Hospital System.
The surgery, performed by Dr. Kaare Kolstad, was successful,
and Cameron’s recovery period has decreased to 3-4 months before a potential return.
Cameron suffered the injury on a non-contact play in last Saturday’s 2-0 loss
to the Chicago Fire.
