Dynamo 3, KC Wizards 0 - postgame notes
Houston Dynamo dominated the Kansas City Wizards for 90 minutes en route to a
3-0 victory at Robertson Stadium Saturday night to move to 3-2-1. Forwards
Luis Landín (one goal, one assist) and Dominic Oduro (two assists) led the way
was the second straight time the Dynamo followed a 2-0 loss with a 3-0 win.
They will try to continue their momentum on Wednesday night, hosting FC Dallas
at Robertson Stadium as part of a stretch in which Houston will play four games
in 13 days.
the 24th minute, Houston broke through the physical first half for the game’s
first goal. Luis Landín found a streaking Dominic Oduro in the middle of the
field. After taking on multiple defenders, Oduro laid the ball off to his
left for an overlapping Landín, who coolly chipped the ball over charging
goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen from a tight angle. The goal was Landin’s second for
the Dynamo in 15 career games, and both have come against Kansas City. Landín
scored against the Wizards in the 26th minute of the teams’ 1-1 tie on October
City was reduced to 10 men in the 33rd minute when midfielder Davy Arnaud was
ejected for making contact with Dynamo goalkeeper Pat Onstad after he fielded a

Adrian Serioux on the right side of the field, then curled a cross to the far
post for countryman Sammy Appiah, making his professional debut, and Appiah hit
a low left-footed shot that went in off the inside of the left post for his
first career goal.
Pat Onstad made two saves for his second shutout of the year, lowering his
goals against average to 1.00 on the season.
defender Bobby Boswell, in his third season with the club, made his 90th career
appearance for the Dynamo in all competitions. Midfielder Brad Davis made the
165th start of his MLS career. Midfielder Corey Ashe made his 50th career start
for the Dynamo in all competitions and the 30th of his MLS regular season
Dynamo played without forwards Brian Ching (hamstring) and Cam Weaver (knee)
and midfielders Geoff Cameron (PCL surgery) and Danny Cruz (red-card
