The Houston Dynamo announced today that President and
General Manager Oliver Luck has accepted
the Athletic Director position at his alma mater, West Virginia University.
Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle believes that current Dynamo COO Chris
Canetti would be an
ideal candidate to replace Luck.
Tonight’s match against the Laredo Heat will give Dominic
Kinnear the opportunity
to showcase some of the younger talent on the Dynamo.
If the Dynamo were ever in need of a goalkeeper, Houston
Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson would be one option. Dynamo head coach
Dominic Kinnear believes Johnson has
the tools to make a great goalkeeper.
Dynamo midfielder Danny Cruz will be one of the players who
will blog for HoustonDynamo.com during the World Cup. In his first
entry he says he is excited to see Wayne Rooney play and that Argentina is
his pick to win.
