victory, after Lovel Palmer scored the only goal of the match in the 81st
minute. Luis Landín played
well at the attacking midfield position before an injury forced him out of
the game in the first half. Although it was not their finest
performance, the Dynamo were happy to come away with the win. Tally Hall improved
to 3-1 in Open Cup games.

who advanced with a 1-0 win of their own over the Austin Aztex.

on July 26 and July 27, with head coach Bruce Arena out of the country for CONCACAF
Champions League matches.
