The match is expected to sell out quickly, making it the Dynamo’s eighth sellout at BBVA Compass Stadium in 2012.

Saturday is the first of three-consecutive home matches for the Dynamo, as they look to clinch a playoff spot for the sixth time in seven seasons. Following Sunday’s 3-1 loss to the Philadelphia Union, the Dynamo currently sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, one point ahead of the Columbus Crew. The top five teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs, with the fourth and fifth place teams playing a one-game wild card match.

“The magnitude of this match, and all remaining home matches, is huge,” said Dynamo president Chris Canetti. “We are in a closely contested dogfight for a playoff berth and we will need to produce results to get through. We have been greatly successful at home and are looking forward to more of the same with a passionate, sold-out crowd behind the team.”

The Dynamo are currently unbeaten in league play at BBVA Compass Stadium and are the only team in MLS to have not lost at home in 2012. Houston has also won 24-consecutive matches in all competitions.  Their 22-game MLS home winning streak is the longest active streak in MLS.

In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, 2012 Olympic bronze medal female boxer, Marlen Esparza, and former WBA, WBO and IBF Lightweight Champion, Juan Diaz, will participate in a special pre-game ceremony.

The Revolution are coming off a 1-1 draw at home against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. New England’s roster features U.S. national team midfielder Benny Feilhaber and Honduran national team striker Jerry Bengtson, who has two goals since joining the club in July.

Individual tickets start at $24 for 200 Level endline seats. The Dynamo and Budweiser have also partnered for a special Guys Night Out package for Saturday’s match. The package includes two tickets, two T-shirts and entrance to a Dynamo pre-game tailgate for only $49.99. For more information visit HoustonDynamo.com or call (713) 276-GOAL.
