The Houston Dynamo Academy, presented by Statoil, swept the Texas Rush on Saturday at the Houston Amateur Sports Park.

In the first match of the day, the U-18s won 4-0, spreading the wealth with four different players finding the back of the net. Irvin Ramirez (pictured, above) and and Bryan Salazar scored in the 7th and 16th minute, respectively, and Carlos Ibarra and Martin Agredo provided the insurance goals in the second half for Houston. Josh Blair started in goal for Houston and recorded his first shutout of the season.

In the second match of the afternoon doubleheader, the Dynamo U-16s defeated the Texas Rush 2-0. Daniel Rutter scored the game-winning goal in the 26th minute. Elo Ozumba provided the game's insurance goal in the 64th minute.

On Sunday, the Dynamo Pre-Academy teams took the field against the Rush. The U-15s tied 1-1 with William Barron providing the Dynamo's lone goal. The U-14s lost 1-0 to an undefeated Rush side. The U-13s played on Monday, after Sunday's game was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Jommar Reyes' stoppage-time equalizer gave the Dynamo a 1-1 draw to complete a 2-1-2 weekend.

All five teams will return to action this weekend against Lonestar Soccer Club. The U-18s will play Saturday at 4 p.m. and the U-16s will follow at 6:30.
