Dynamo thank fans' efforts during Cup run
Although he was only 30 minutes removed from a loss in the MLS Cup Final, Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear took a moment to reflect on one of the positives from this afternoon.
“I was ever-so-proud of our little corner; how awesome they were the entire game,” Kinnear said regarding the Dynamo fans in attendance.
It was estimated that more than 1,500 fans made the trip to California to support the Dynamo as they took on the Galaxy for the second consecutive year in the league’s championship match.
Kinnear complimented the fans on their passion through the match as well as postgame when they stood and applauded the Dynamo through the medal ceremony and into the locker room.
The Dynamo head coach was not the only member of the organization to recognize the fans, as many players took to Twitter shortly after to express their gratitude.
Sorry for not being able to win it for you guys hopefully next year is our year #HoustonDynamo
