Dynamo, Kingwood Alliance Soccer form partnership
The Houston Dynamo have announced an agreement with Kingwood Alliance Soccer Club to host the Houston Dynamo’s Center of Excellence training program at soccer fields at Kingwood's North Park. The program is open to boys and girls aged 6-12 and will take place on Sunday afternoons between March 17 and May 12.
The partnership is designed to build a bridge between the Kingwood community and the Houston Dynamo and provide area soccer players the opportunity to supplement their day-to-day training under the guidance of Dynamo's professionally licensed coaches. In addition, the program will offer select children the opportunity to train with the Dynamo Academy, presented by Statoil.
“Our aim is to connect with, grow, and develop the game of soccer in our community,” says Adrian Moses, Houston Dynamo Director of Soccer Programs. “In partnering with us, Kingwood Alliance now offer soccer players in their area an extra opportunity to develop themselves as soccer athletes and the chance to connect with the professional club.”
“The Alliance Soccer Club is excited to partner with the Houston Dynamo in the Center of Excellence program,” says Mark Zylker, President of the Kingwood Alliance Soccer Club. “This is a unique opportunity for all the players in our area to have a chance to work with our local professional soccer club. We look forward to this partnership and to seeing our players continue to develop.”
All training sessions will run from 2-4 p.m. The first session will begin on Sunday, March 17. Registration is open to all players regardless of their club affiliation. More information about the program can be found at www.houstondynamo.com/preacademy and interested families can register here.
