In the first match of the day, the Andromeda U-18s got an early goal from Nicholas Lozada-Smith to put the D ynamo on their heels. Lozada-Smith doubled Andromeda's lead in the 39th minute and Houston was unable to recover. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Dynamo U-18s and dropped them to 11-4-3 on the season. Houston currently sits in the Frontier Division, behind FC Dallas and Dallas Texans.

The Dynamo U-16s won for their seventh consecutive match, defeating Andromeda 2-0 behind a pair of goals from Elo Ozumba. The Dynamo got on the board in the 23rd minute when Ozumba snapped home a header off a long ball from Gabriel Camera. Ozumba completed his brace ten minutes later when he hammered home a rebound past goalkeeper Tanner Starrett to extend Houston's lead.

Ozumba has scored four goals in the past two games and has 12 on the season. The 12 goals ties his career high set in 2011 and ties his own record for goals scored in a season by an Academy player.

With the win, the Dynamo U-16s sit alone in first place with a 14-3-1 record and 2.39 points per game.

The U-16s and U-18s will have three weeks off before taking on Texas Rush on Saturday, March 16 at Lents Family Park West in Houston.

In Pre-Academy League action, the Dynamo went 2-1-0 against Classics Elite. The Dynamo U-15s won 3-1 behind goals from Deniz Sipahi, Noe Ochoa and Alex Calderon. The Dynamo U-14s won 3-0 with Alejandro Lezama, Thomas Hollis and Christian Molina tallying for Houston. The Dynamo U-13s fell 1-0 to Classics.
