Houston Dynamo milestones and notes from Saturday's 3-1 win over Seattle Sounders FC

Davis reaches 20 multi-assist games; Bruin nears De Rosario; Hall reaches 50 wins

The Houston Dynamo defeated Seattle Sounders FC, 3-1, on Saturday at BBVA Compass stadium. Here is a look at milestones reached by Dynamo players this weekend:

  • It was Giles Barnes’s first two-goal game with the Dynamo.
  • Will Bruin registered his 11th career regular season assist to tie Ricardo Clark and Dwayne De Rosario for eighth on the franchise list.
  • It was also Bruin’s 23rd career regular season goal. With his next, he’ll tie De Rosario for third on the club list.
  • It was also Brad Davis’ first two-assist game of the season. Davis now has 98 career regular season assists and is three behind Marco Etcheverry for sixth on the league’s all-time assist list.
  • Davis also earned his 20th career regular season multi-assist game. He is now tied for fifth all-time in multi-assist games in league history. (See full list below) 
  • It was also Davis’ first two-assist game of the season. The midfielder had three last year, including two assists in consecutive games (July 21 vs. Montreal and July 28 at Toronto FC). Davis had four multi-assist games in 2011, including three assists against Vancouver in a 3-1 home win.
  • Tally Hall earned his 50th career win in all competitions. Pat Onstad is the club leader with 67.
  • It was Corey Ashe’s 161st career start in all competitions with Houston to tie Brian Ching for sixth on the franchise list. It was also Ashe’s 127th career regular season start with Houston to tie Brian Mullan for fourth on the club list.
  • It was Ricardo Clark’s 170th career game in all competitions with the Dynamo. He is tied with Onstad for sixth on the franchise list. It was also his 125th career regular season start with Houston.
