The Houston Dynamo have recalled forward Jason Johnson from the Pittsburgh Riverhounds for Saturday's game against Chivas USA.

Johnson, 23, joined Pittsburgh of USL PRO on loan on March 24 and has started all four of the team's matches, playing 335 minutes.

Johnson featured in 13 games for the Dynamo in 2013, including four starts and scoring one goal. He has yet to make an appearance in 2014. The Happy News, Jamaica, native was selected by the Dynamo in the first round of the 2013 MLS SuperDraft (13th overall selection) out of Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition to his 13 MLS regular season appearances, Johnson played in four CONCACAF Champions League games and each of the Dynamo's two U.S. Open Cup games in 2013.
