Houston saw its five-game win streak snapped and needed a last-minute goal from substitute Brian Ching to pull out a tie. A first-half own goal had given Real Salt Lake the lead, and Brad Davis saw his penalty kick saved in the second half before Ching and Brian Mullan combined on the winner.
