The Dynamo clinched El Capitán for the second straight year and ran their unbeaten streak against Dallas to five games with a 1-0 shutout of their in-state rivals. Just before halftime, Brian Mullan broke free down the right and crossed to Brian Ching for a full-speed, diving header from close range that ultimately gave the Dynamo the win. Ching, however, was injured and missed almost a month.
