The Houston Dynamo and English-language television partner KHOU-TV/DT will launch a new half-hour show, Dynamo Weekly, tonight at 9 p.m. on KHOU 11.2. The show will feature highlights, interviews, and features to prepare fans for the weekend game.

The show will air the Friday night before most Dynamo weekend games. This week’s edition includes highlights from the Dynamo’s win over Real Salt Lake, a feature on Dynamo supporters groups traveling to Frisco, Texas, for the team’s opener, and a preview of Saturday night’s game against the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The show also includes the first edition of Ask the Dynamo, in which players answer questions submitted by fans by emailing info@HoustonDynamo.com. The first segment features Danny Cruz, Tally Hall, and Craig Waibel.

“This show will give soccer fans a great look at what’s going on with the Dynamo and Major League Soccer,” Dynamo Chief Operating Officer Chris Canetti said. “The in-depth game recaps, previews, and player interviews provide coverage on a level unavailable anywhere else.”

KHOU is currently scheduled to show 21 Dynamo regular season games on Channel 11.2 in 2010, beginning with Saturday’s contest against the Los Angeles Galaxy. Dynamo Insider, a 30-minute show featuring top plays and on-set interviews, will again air once per month throughout the season, and KHOU 11.2 will also air replays of all 21 game broadcasts during the following week.

The Dynamo will host the 2010 Major League Soccer All-Star Game this summer at Reliant Stadium, and tickets are available in Dynamo season ticket packages, on sale now at HoustonDynamo.com or by calling (713) 276-7500.
