The Houston Dynamo continued their inconsistent form with a 3-1 loss to Real Salt Lake Thursday night. Houston finished its stretch of four games in 13 days with a 2-2 record.
RSL dominated the play last night and are now locked in a tie with the Dynamo for second place in the Western Conference. The forward combination of Robbie Findley and Alvaro Saborio proved too much for the Dynamo defense. Houston showed better form in the second half, but could not erase the three-goal deficit. The loss snapped an eight-game unbeaten streak against Real Salt Lake.
RSL spoiled Brian Ching’s return to the field. Ching played the last 28 minutes and proved that he is ready to contribute to the U.S. men’s national team.
