In New York, manager Sir Alex Ferguson addressed the media and expressed his excitement about the tour. Down in Houston, MLS commissioner Don Garber and Manchester United commercial director Richard Arnold spoke about the 2010 AT&T MLS All-Star Game. Commissioner Garber would not guarantee a victory for MLS but pointed out that the All-Stars have defeated top clubs such as Chelsea, Chivas de Guadalajara, and Celtic.
