HoustonDynamo.com caught up with Corey Ashe after Thursday's training session. Here's what he had to say:

HD: What is your favorite restaurant in Houston?
CA: My favorite restaurant in Houston is probably Chipotle. I usually get a chicken burrito.

HD: What was your favorite TV show when you were a kid?
CA: My favorite TV show growing up was Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. You can’t go wrong with that.

HD: What sport would you play if you didn’t play soccer?
CA: I would try to play, believe it or not, football. I would have to gain a lot of weight. I would either be a running back or a punt returner on special teams.

HD: Do you have any nicknames for anyone on the team?
CA: I call Danny [Cruz] 'Chancho' from Nacho Libre. I call Cam [Weaver] ‘Clyde’ because he is a Clydesdale. He is about a foot taller than I am.

HD: Is there any kind of rookie hazing?
CA: Well, I don't know how much I can share ... No, just kidding. There's not too much, but the rookies have to get the balls, move the goals, and get the cones after training.

HD: Who did you look up to as a kid?
CA: I looked up to my brother. I call him G.I. Joe. He was a sniper in the army. He did that for a while, and then he did some high-risk security protecting important people such as Condoleezza Rice. Now he is with the FBI.

HD: What is your favorite MLS memory?
CA: My favorite memory was winning the championship in my first year [2007]. I was kind of new to everything, but being a part of that championship team was awesome.
