The Houston Dynamo will take on Toronto FC tonight at 6 p.m. CT. The game can be seen nationally on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. Dynamo forward Joseph Ngwenya hopes to build on the strong performance he had last week against Colorado. Toronto midfielder Dwayne De Rosario, a former MLS Cup MVP with the Dynamo, will be the main focus of a Dynamo defense tonight that will look to cut down on the lapses that have plagued the team the past few weeks.

Steve Sandor of the Toronto Sun refers to the Dynamo as Team Canada South due to the influx of Canadian born players over the years. Goal.com  believes Toronto will be celebrating Canada Day with a victory over the Dynamo.

With their win on Tuesday against Miami FC, the Dynamo will now face Chivas USA in the quarterfinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Click here to purchase your tickets.

In the latest edition of “Who should be on the 2014 U.S. national team”, Matthew Doyle of MLSsoccer.com suggests that Dynamo midfielder Geoff Cameron should be a focal point of the defense. Well said Matthew.
