Dynamo forward Dominic Oduro was ejected from the July 21 match against Puebla, after referee Oscar Reyna issued Oduro a red card after believing Oduro had picked up two prior yellows. The SuperLiga Appeals Committee has reviewed the decision and has overturned the suspension, allowing him to play in tomorrow night's semifinal match against Morelia.


The Dynamo Youth Development system is opening a new Dynamo Juniors program in McAllen.  The new program gives Rio Grande Valley youth the opportunity to grow into the Dynamo Academy, and potentially the Dynamo first team. Check out this feature on two Academy players in a local Houston-area newspaper.


MLS has posted the Power Rankings for week 18.  The Dynamo are notched at number 13, climbing one spot from last week’s ranking.  Real Salt Lake jumped up from the number 4 to claim the top spot. ESPN.com ranks the Dynamo 15th in their latest poll.


D.C. United made a major staff change this morning, firing Curt Onalfo as head coach.  Assistant coach Ben Olsen will be stepping in as interim coach.


Clint Mathis will be playing his final game this Saturday night against Real Madrid, retiring after a successful career both in MLS and for the U.S. national team.


The Vatican has problems with the Serie A kick off times.  The Catholic Church thinks that the 12:30 p.m. kick off will invade with time that families should be spending eating lunch together.


Future MLS expansions?  San Diego wants a piece of the action.
