Dynamo Trials showcase to be held Thursday

The Houston Dynamo will hold the showcase game of Dynamo Trials 2010, presented by Wells Fargo, on Thursday night, October 28, at 7 p.m. at Carl Lewis Track & Field Complex at the University of Houston.


The game will feature the 15 Dynamo Trials finalists against the Dynamo Academy U-18 team and will be evaluated by the Houston Dynamo first team coaching staff. The 15 finalists came from an original pool of about 300 players and passed both a fitness test and a skills test to reach the final. A goalkeeper will be provided from the Dynamo Academy.


This is the third year of the current Dynamo Trials format; the Dynamo Academy has won the previous two matches, 3-1 in 2008 and 5-0 in 2009.


The Dynamo Trials finalists are: Daniel Aguinaga, Edwin Alvarez, Joshua Brieva, Joshua Clark, Bob Colin, Charles Ehikhamhen, Mohamed Faye, Audel Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Alexandro Gonzalez, Guilmer Granados, Stewart Harwell, Michael Ordonez Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez, Juan Rojas.
