In case you missed it over the weekend, former Dynamo goalkeeper Pat Onstad wrote a heart-felt letter to the Houston Chronicle, thanking fans for their years of dedication to the Dynamo organization.


The Dynamo welcomed two new members to training today, Lester Peltier and Steven Morrissey, who will try to impress head coach Dominic Kinnear and earn a spot on Houston's roster. After training, HoustonDynamo.comcaught up with the trialists to ask about their first training session. Yesterday, the Dynamo had some visitors at training who shared a common birth place with Kinnear.


After scoring only seven goals last season, Dynamo forward Brian Ching is determined to not only score more goals this season, but create more opportunities for his teammates.


Newark Star-Ledger soccer writer Frank Giase believes the Dynamo are a team to watch this year, after shifting to the Eastern Conference for the 2011 season.

As part of the stadium agreement with the city of Houston, the Dynamo hope to strike a deal for a tax rebate that will total $3 million over the course of 30 years. Speaking of the new stadium, the construction of the Sister Cities Promenade could offer Dynamo fans a similar pregame atmosphere to another MLS team.


Major League Soccer announced today that the 2011 MLS All-Star Game will be played at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J.
