The Dynamo finished preseason on a high note yesterday, defeating the New England Revolution 3-1 in the final game of the Atlanta Pro Soccer Challenge. Unfortunately for the Dynamo, Brian Ching picked up an injury in Friday's game against the Columbus Crew. Ching's injury might open the door for rookie Will Bruin to see time in this Saturday's season opener.

MLS is closing in on its 8,000th goal. With the league currently sitting at 7,997 it would some tremendous play from the goalkeepers in the league for 8,000 to not happen before the Dynamo's match on Saturday. It would be fitting for a Dynamo to score that goal though considering Houston players have scored the 6,000th and 7,000th goals in MLS history.
