With last weekend's 3-1 win over the LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear joined an exclusive club by becoming only the fifth coach in MLS history to reach 100 regular-season wins. With help from various communications staffers around the league, HoustonDynamo.com spoke with MLS coaches to get their thoughts on Kinnear's achievement.

"Best regards to Dom. I have always respected Dom and enjoyed our time together in San Jose. Having been a part of our MLS Cup championship teams in 2001 and 2003, we shared some great memories with the Earthquakes. He's a guy who deserves every bit of success he gets, and I'm happy to see him win his 100th game in the league."

He might be the best soccer-tennis-playing coach in the league, and I know some may take offense to that. He’s kept Houston at the top or near the top for a lot of years and was able to rebuild them quickly. He’s done a great job, and he deserves 100 wins.”
HOUSTON DYNAMO GOALKEEPERS COACH TIM HANLEY
"It's difficult to accomplish [100 wins] in a couple of different ways. Winning in this league is very difficult, and you have to have the longevity to get that many wins. If you are in this league for a long period of time, it means you are doing the right things. It is a very competitive environment, and I think that everyone wants a head-coaching position. Everyone wants his job, and to sit here and be in this league for this long, get that many wins, and accomplish what he has is a great testament to hard work and great leadership."
