It's been a month since we last checked in on the college soccer season and the 13 protected players from the Dynamo Academy competing in the college ranks. That little thing called the MLS Cup Playoff got in the way. But the college soccer season is also ramping up toward its big dance, so it's time once again for a report on Dynamo Academy players, sorted by year of eligibility:

Seniors
Daniel Roberts, MF/FW, UNC-Wilmington (Fort Bend Clements) Dynamo bio | UNCW bio
Roberts' senior season - the second time around - was not a smooth one, as he missed time due to injury and the Seahawks missed the postseason altogether with a 4-12-2 mark. Roberts led the team with five assists, and UNC-Wilmington closed out its campaign with a strong Senior Night performance: a 4-2 win over George Mason. Roberts finished his career tied for fourth in UNC-Wilmington history with 18 assists and second in school history with 55 shots on goal.

Clayton Holz, MF, Stanford (St. John's) Dynamo bio | Stanford bio?
Stanford (5-10-2) has just one game remaining, at rival Cal this Friday. Holz started - his seventh appearance of the season- and had a shot on goal in the Cardinal's Senior Night loss to No. 8 UCLA last week.

Matt Kirby, MF, Denver (Beaumont Msgr. Kelly) Dynamo bio | DU bio
Denver finished the regular season 5-10-3 and will be the No. 6 seed in the upcoming Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament, to be hosted at Denver's CIBER Field. The Pioneers will face No. 3 seed Air Force in the first round on Thursday. Kirby had appeared in every game until missing Denver's finale at Air Force, notching two goals and three assists to rank fifth on the team in scoring. The highlight of Kirby's season came on Oct. 16, when he scored an overtime game-winner to give Denver a 5-4 overtime win over UNLV on the road.

Pana Vasquez, MF/FW, Cal State-Monterey Bay (Cy Falls) Dynamo bio | CSU-MB bio
Division II Cal State-Monterey Bay finished 7-9-1, but Vasquez played in every game, making 12 starts, and finished his final collegiate season with two goals and one assist. He scored both goals in a 3-0 win over Humboldt State on Oct. 16.

Juniors
Matt Boullt, DF, Tulsa (Fort Bend Clements) Dynamo bio | Tulsa bio
A year after reaching the NCAA quarterfinals, the Golden Hurricane suffered a disappointing year and finished with a 5-12 record, 1-7 in Conference USA. Boullt started 16 of 17 games, finishing the year with one assist.

Sophomores
Sebastien Ibeagha, DF/MF, Duke (Fort Bend Hightower) Dynamo bio | Duke bio
Has started 14 of Duke's 18 games as a center back and helped Duke to the No. 3 seed in the ACC Tournament, which starts tonight when the Blue Devils host No. 6 Clemson in the quarterfinals. Duke enters the tournament with a four-game unbeaten streak.

C.J. Odenigwe, DF, North Carolina (Fort Bend Travis) Dynamo bio | UNC bio
Odenigwe is out for the season after suffering a preseason injury.

Johnny Torres, MF, Wake Forest (Humble Atascocita) Dynamo bio | Wake bio
Torres made six substitute appearances during the regular season for Wake Forest, which is seeded fifth in the ACC Tournament and plays at No. 4 Virginia tonight.

Pat Wall, GK, Notre Dame (Strake Jesuit) Dynamo bio | ND bio
Made his collegiate debut in final minutes of 4-0 win vs. Seton Hall on Nov. 1 and did not face a shot. Has served as the backup to senior Will Walsh all season. Ranked 18th nationally, Notre Dame was upset 1-0 by Villanova in the opening round of the Big East Tournament last week and will hope for an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. The field will be announced on Monday, Nov. 14.

Freshmen
Leo Ayala, DF, Central Florida (Challenge Early College) Dynamo bio | UCF bio
Has been a regular for UCF during its best season in school history, playing in 16 of 17 games and making 11 starts. The No. 3 seed in the Conference USA tournament, UCF will play No. 6 Memphis in Wednesday's first round. South Carolina and UAB are the top two seeds.

Alan Hernandez, DF, Rhode Island (Pearland) Dynamo bio | URI bio
Started every game for the Rams, who closed the season with three wins in five games and, with a 4-4-1 conference record, just missed out on a spot in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament.

Ábe Matamoros, MF, Tulsa (Strake Jesuit) Dynamo bio | Tulsa bio
Started 14 of Tulsa's 17 games in his first collegiate season, contributing one assist.

Miguel Zapata, MF, Tulsa (Katy Mayde Creek) Dynamo bio | Tulsa bio

The Atlantic Soccer Conference tournament kicks off on Thursday, and the third-seeded Huskies will take on No. 2 Longwood in one semifinal on Friday night. Host Adelphi is the top seed.

Other Connections
Goalkeepers coach Tim Hanley's son, Riley Hanley, has appeared in 15 of 17 games for St. Mary's, which stands at 6-6-5 and has a tenuous grasp on first place in the West Coast Conference. The Gaels close the season at home against Loyola Marymount and San Diego, trying to reach the NCAA Tournament. Hanley has one goal and one assist in his freshman season.
