The Houston Dynamo announced their schedule for the 2012 preseason today, with training sessions beginning on Monday, January 23. The schedule is tentative and subject to change.
During preseason, the Dynamo will train and play friendlies at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., from February 7-14, as well as participate in the Disney Pro Soccer Classic in Orlando, Fla., from Feb. 24- March 3. Houston will also play three scrimmages against San Jacinto Junior College, Houston Baptist University, and Southern Methodist University. All home matches and Houston-based training sessions will take place at the Houston Amateur Sports Park.
The Dynamo’s MLS regular season opener is set for Sunday, March 11, against Chivas USA at The Home Depot Center. The Dynamo will play their first seven games on the road before opening BBVA Compass Stadium on May 12 against D.C.
