MLS Disciplinary Committee suspends and fines Dynamo midfielder Adam Moffat

The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee today suspended Houston Dynamo midfielder Adam Moffat for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for a reckless challenge which endangered the safety of his opponent in the 35th minute of the Dynamo’s match against the Seattle Sounders on March 23, 2012.


The Disciplinary Committee also fined Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Alvaro Fernandez an undisclosed amount for embellishment of contact in the 82nd minute of the same match on March 23, 2012.


Fines collected will be donated to the charitable partners of MLS W.O.R.K.S. and the MLS Players Union.
