It's all going right for Calen Carr.

The Dynamo midfielder – who helped Houston rack up a nine-point week and jump into sole possession of third place in the Eastern Conference – had himself an impressive two games en route to being named Player of the Week for Week 20, as voted on by the North American Soccer Reporters (see who and how the media voted here).

Carr's brace on Wednesday was the difference in the Dynamo's 2-1 win over Sporting KC, and his set-up play on Saturday helped notch an early goal – and eventual game-winner – against Montreal.

The nod is the first for both Carr and the Dynamo this season.

The voting was as close as it gets. Carr edged out Week 16 winner Landon Donovan of the LA Galaxy by a single vote. Also receiving first-place votes were Vancouver's Barry Robson and Young-Pyo Lee, LA's David Beckham, FC Dallas' Jackson, Columbus' Jairo Arrieta, New York's Kenny Cooper, and fellow Houston teammate Macoumba Kandji.
