The latest Castrol MLS Performance Index was released on Wednesday, and Dynamo were well-represented after their two-game, six-point performance in week 20 of the MLS season. Forward Macoumba Kandji climbed to the top of the index following his two-goal performance against the Montreal Impact last Saturday.
At No. 4 is one of the other guys who has thrived in Houston's 4-3-3, reigning MLS Player of the Week Calen Carr. His two goals against Sporting KC midweek propelled the Dynamo to a 2-1 win, moving them squarely into the Eastern Conference playoff hunt.
Also earning top 10 honors are Dynamo defender Bobby Boswell at the No. 6 spot as well as goalkeeper Tally Hall at No. 7. The two have kept the Dynamo defense well organized, while earning four shutouts in their six-game unbeaten streak. Boswell also netted a goal in the match against Montreal, sending the Dynamo into sole possession of third place in the Eastern Conference.
