Dynamo players earn time with respective national teams

Andre Hainault scored the winner for Canada against Belarus.

Dynamo defenders Andre Hainault and Jermaine Taylor and midfielders Je-Vaughn Watson and Boniek Garcia returned to Houston today following successful stints with their respective national teams.


Hainault started and played 90 minutes in Canada's 2-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago at Central Broward Regional Park in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Canada is now unbeaten in their last four matches. Their next match will be a World Cup qualifier on September 7 against Panama.


Taylor returned to Jamaica's starting lineup and played 90 minutes in central defense in a 2-0 win over El Salvador. Watson started and played 76 minutes before being subbed off by Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Dane Richards. The Dynamo midfielder also picked up a yellow card in the match.


Dynamo designated player Boniek Garcia started and played 67 minutes in a 2-0 friendly win over Argentine club Boca Juniors.


All players will be available for selection when the Dynamo take on the Columbus Crew Sunday night (BUY TICKETS).
