Dynamo midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson has been called up by the Jamaican Football Federation for the squad's upcoming World Cup qualifier against Mexico at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
Watson joins Jermaine Taylor on the Reggae Boyz squad that will kick off its World Cup qualifying campaign on Wednesday.
The Dynamo midfielder, who has 24 caps for the Jamaican national team, was not named to Jamaica's original roster, but was called up after Huddersfield Town's Jermaine Beckford pulled his hamstring in last week's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Watson was a key contributor for Jamaica as the squad finished in a tie for second place in Group A in the third round of the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying tournament. Despite finishing with the same number of points as Guatemala, Jamaica advanced with a stronger goal differential. The 6-foot-2 midfielder appeared in all six of Jamaica's matches (with five starts) as the Reggae Boyz finished group play 3-1-2.
