The Houston Dynamo kicked off the first-ever MLS Jersey Week on Monday with the release of their new primary and secondary jerseys.

The club
unveiled images of their new kits via social media
on Monday ahead of a
formal unveiling at House of Blues.

The new jerseys feature Houston's team slogan “Forever Orange” near the neck. Also, the tape design on the back of the neck is inspired by the facade of newly constructed BBVA Compass Stadium which opened last year. The primary kit also features the Texas state flag.

Fans can preorder the new jerseys at the following link.

"One of the great things with Houston and our position as a brand is that we want to push sustainability," said Mike Walker, product manager at adidas. "These jerseys are made of 100 percent recyclable polyester. So it's a great story to tell and the fact that [the Dynamo] wanted to do that was a huge bonus for us."

The Dynamo carry over the same red third kits they used last year featuring pintstripes which are reminiscent of Spain national team alternate kit.

The other MLS unveilings that will took place on Monday involved the New York Red Bulls (primary) and Colorado Rapids (primary and secondary). Click here for the full schedule of Jersey Week releases that run from Monday through Friday.
