The home unbeaten streak continues ...

Saturday's win over D.C. United not only gave the Dynamo three points to kick off the 2013 season, but it extended the team's unbeaten streak at home. The streak now stands at 26 games in MLS play and 31 games in all competitions.

Real Salt Lake currently holds the all-time record with 29 games in MLS play and 34 games in all competitions.

The Dynamo's last loss in Houston was June 11, 2011, a 2-0 defeat to the Columbus Crew. Since then, Houston has gone on a tear at home, compiling a 22-0-9 record in their past 31 matches in Houston.

The Dynamo are also 15-0-7 in all competitions at BBVA Compass Stadium.

Houston's unbeaten streak will be tested on Tuesday when they host Mexican giant Santos Laguna in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal series. Santos is unbeaten in its last three matches but is only 1-1-3 in road matches this season.
